January 13th - A fascinating and memorable presentation by the UK managing director of Gonzalez Byass,  with tapas and sherry served the way they have always served it in Spain.

February 10th - Paul Pickering presents -

"Royal Patronage of the Arts in Eighteenth Century Spain"  

looking at painting, architecture, decorative arts and perhaps with samples of music at the  courts of Philip V, Charles III and Charles IV. We shall "visit" the palaces of La Granja , Aranjuez and the Royal Palace in Madrid and take in Melendez's  still life painting and Goya's tapestry designs.
